MICHAEL G. PHILLIPS GOOD SAMARITAN

The Michael G. Phillips Good Samaritan Program—affectionately known as “Good Sam”—provides lifesaving emergency and specialized care for animals who arrive at Little Traverse Bay Humane Society with serious medical or behavioral needs.

From critical surgeries and diagnostic testing to behavioral rehabilitation, special diets, and medications, this program ensures that every pet has the chance to heal, recover, and thrive. Each year, more than $50,000 is dedicated to caring for pets with extensive medical needs through Good Sam support.

Because of this program, dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens with nowhere else to turn receive the compassionate care they deserve—and the opportunity to go on to live long, healthy, happy lives.
