Private Rehoming

The pets listed below are being rehomed by members of our community. They are not housed at Little Traverse Bay Humane Society or evaluated by our staff, and all arrangements to meet with these animals must be made directly with their guardians. Please note that LTBHS accepts no responsibility for the pets posted to this page. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating with the pet’s guardian to acquire veterinary records and other necessary information and supplies, and will be responsible for any future health or behavior needs of these animals.

  • LTBHS provides this private adoption listing as a courtesy service and accepts no responsibility for the animals posted.

  • If you adopt a new pet with a microchip, be sure to update it with your information.

  • If the dog or cat you adopt is not spayed or neutered, send a request to shelterpets@ltbhs.com for a voucher good at Little Traverse Bay Veterinary Clinic. This voucher is only good for dog or cat spay/neuter surgery.
