INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE

At Little Traverse Bay Veterinary Clinic, we believe in a whole-pet approach to health and healing. We offer integrative medicine options designed to support your pet’s comfort, mobility, and overall well-being.

Two of our most popular integrative therapies are laser therapy and acupuncture, both of which can be used alongside conventional treatments to help manage pain, reduce inflammation, and promote healing. These gentle, non-invasive therapies are commonly used to support pets experiencing arthritis, chronic pain, injuries, post-surgical recovery, and other age-related conditions.

Laser therapy uses targeted light energy to stimulate cell repair, improve circulation, and decrease inflammation, often providing relief for pets with joint pain or soft tissue injuries. Acupuncture involves the careful placement of small, sterile needles at specific points on the body to help restore balance, improve nerve and muscle function, and support the body’s natural healing processes.

Our lead clinic veterinarian, Dr. Zubricky, is certified in Veterinary Acupuncture and brings specialized training and experience to this therapeutic option. Many pets find these treatments relaxing, and they can be an excellent option for improving quality of life—especially for senior pets or those managing chronic conditions.

If you’re interested in learning whether integrative medicine may benefit your pet, our team would be happy to discuss treatment options and develop a plan tailored to your pet’s needs.
