PAWTY WITH US!
Looking for a unique, fun, and meaningful way to celebrate your child’s special day? Our Birthday Pawties are perfect for kids ages 5 and up who love animals! Choose between a “Purr-fect Party” with cuddly cats or a “Tail Waggin’ Good Time” with playful dogs. Each party includes a guided shelter tour, quality time with a shelter animal, and a hands-on craft or game to make memories — all in a safe, welcoming space.
Celebrate with us and help support the animals who need us most — it’s a birthday your child and furry friends will never forget!
Availability: Friday from 4-6 pm and Saturday from 1-3 pm
Location: Little Traverse Bay Humane Society Conference Room (1300 West Conway Rd, Harbor Springs) or Community Center (8580 Commerce Court), depending on party size
Duration: 120 minutes
Cost: $200 (including a $100 non-refundable deposit at time of booking)

Your pawty includes a 2-hour celebration with a shelter tour, time to interact with cats or dogs, a craft or game activity, and 45 minutes for gifts and refreshments. Tables, chairs, and an LTBHS staff member to assist are provided. The birthday child receives an LTBHS T-shirt and gets to name an adoptable animal!

First, you’ll choose the type of Pawty your child would love best — a Purr-fect Party focused on cats, or a Tail Waggin’ Good Time featuring dogs. Each offers a fun and unique experience with animal visits, crafts, and games tailored to the theme.

Parents/guardians must stay with their children at all times.
No refrigerated foods or extra decorations allowed.
All guests must stay in the designated party area unless on a staff-led tour.
Inappropriate behavior or safety concerns may result in early party closure with no refund.
Weapons and violence are strictly prohibited.

Absolutely! If you prefer, you can request donations of treats, supplies, or funds for the animals in our care in lieu of presents — the animals thank you! View our wishlists here.
