MANNA Food Pantry
We believe no one should have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their pets. Our Community Pet Pantry on the go is here to help free food, supplies, and support when you need it! We will be at Manna Food Project from 9am to 12pm.
Old Town Emmet Farm Market
Join Little Traverse Bay Humane Society at the Old Town Emmet Farmers Market in the Friendship Center parking lot!
Stop by our booth to learn more about volunteering, fostering, and ways to support the animals at LTBHS. We’ll have updated kennel cards on site featuring some of our adoptable animals, shelter information, and ways to get involved with our mission.

yOGA WITH CATS
Stretch, breathe, and spend some time surrounded by shelter cats.
Join us for a cozy afternoon of Yoga with Shelter Cats at Little Traverse Bay Humane Society in partnership with Yoga Roots and Healing Arts
This will be a smaller, relaxed class with a maximum of 10 participants to help keep the environment calm and comfortable for both people and cats. The session will take place in our Meet & Greet Room, which will be set up with cat trees, cozy furniture, and enrichment items to help the cats feel right at home while they mingle throughout class.
Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just looking for a peaceful way to spend your afternoon, this is such a fun and unique way to support shelter animals while unwinding a little yourself.

Bark Crawl
Join us for our SECOND annual Bark Crawl!
This exciting event invites animal lovers to explore the best local bars while supporting a great cause. On Friday, May 1 from 6-10 pm, we will party with a purpose at awesome local bars throughout Petoskey.
Every attendee will snag a Bark Crawl goodie bag (for your four-legged BFF) and a VIP Pawty Pass lanyard to receive exclusive discounts at participating locations. The fun kicks off with check-in at High Five Spirits (starting at 5:45 pm), where you’ll grab your event swag before setting out to visit these amazing spots. Our team will also be on-site at High Five all night with adoptable dogs and more information about volunteering, donating, and adopting.
The bar crawl can be completed on your own, or with fellow supporters you meet along the way! Once you’re done, join us back at High Five with your completed Pawty Pass for the chance to win cool prizes!
Project Connect
We will be at Project Connect April 22 from 10am to 3pm at North Central Michigan College. This community event brings together local organizations to provide free resources and support.
Our team will be there sharing information about Little Traverse Bay Humane Society, including our Resource Room, veterinary clinic, and programs that help keep pets with their families.
Subaru Share the Love: Adoption Event!
Join us on Saturday, December 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Subaru by the Bay in Petoskey for festive treats and adoptable shelter animals!
The Subaru Share the Love Event is taking place now until January 3 and for every newly leased or purchased vehicle, Subaru by the Bay will donate to one of four national charities or a local organization—Little Traverse Bay Humane Society!
This event is free and open to the public.

Join us Thursday, November 13 from 4–5:30 PM for a fun, fall-themed craft that helps our cats find their forever homes! Kids will create colorful “feathers of love” for our shelter turkey centerpiece—and each feather spreads joy to our adoptable cats.

We’ll be back at Birchwood Farms for our fourth annual Putts Fore Paws event! Join us for a fun day of scramble style golf, exciting prizes and contests, lunch and a silent auction benefitting LTBHS. Funds from Putts Fore Paws help us impact the lives of thousands of animals each year.
Tickets are $150 per player or $600 per foursome.
