THE GRATEFUL DOG WALK IS BACK!

After a decade-long sabbatical, we’re bringing the good vibes back! Join Little Traverse Bay Humane Society for the 2026 Grateful Dog Walk on Sunday, October 4 from 9 AM–1 PM at the Oden State Fish Hatchery!

This family- and pet-friendly event is more than a walk through the park—it’s a celebration of second chances and a chance to raise lifesaving funds for animals in need throughout Northern Michigan.

Bring your own four-legged walking buddy or register to walk with one of our shelter dogs! No dog? No problem—you’re still welcome to join the fun.

Registration is $35 and includes a dog bandana. Once you register, create your personal fundraising page, share it with friends and family, and see how much you can raise for the animals of LTBHS! Every dollar helps us continue saying YES to pets in need.

After our 1-mile hike, stick around for entertainment, refreshments, sponsor booths, a tie-dye station, adoptable animals and more!
